The team developed a full campaign concept for Cell C’s “Take a Child to Work Day,” focusing on youth empowerment, mentorship, and the power of opportunity. The project aimed to strengthen Cell C’s positioning as a brand that champions growth and education for young South Africans, inspiring the next generation to see their potential in working fields.

The creative idea, “Dream. Do. Discover.”, was born from the belief that every journey starts with a dream, but it’s taking that action and getting those experiences that turn those dreams into reality. The team wanted the message to feel both motivational and accessible, encouraging children to imagine what’s possible (Dream), take initiative (Do), and learn through experience (Discover).

To bring this idea to life, the campaign combined digital storytelling with interactive engagement. The team designed social media posts filled with uplifting visuals and real ideas to create inspiration. They also proposed using WhatsApp as a direct communication channel, allowing participating schools, parents, and mentors to share updates, guidance, and motivational messages easily, reflecting Cell C’s roots in connection and communication. An inspirational video was also made to motivate the South African youth to never stop dreaming.

The “Dream. Do. Discover.” concept also encouraged businesses to take an active role in shaping the next generation. It called on companies to open their doors, share their knowledge, and mentor young minds, showing that true impact happens when coporations invest their time, guidance, and care into the leaders of tomorrow.

Overall, “Dream. Do. Discover.” positioned Cell C as more than a telecom provider, it became a brand for possibility.
